Listen to Amy Lynch and STARS medical patron Dr Fitzpatrick, Consultant Electrocardiologist, Manchester Heart Hospital on BBC Radio Lancashire.

Amy Lynch, 28, from Blackburn, had her life transformed; after years of unexplained faints, a simple procedure using an implantable loop recorder (ILR) resulted in a positive diagnosis and treatment.

Listen from 2:39 to 2:46 bbc.co.uk/programmes/p012y6sg

Have you received a positive diagnosis from an ILR? We would love to hear about your experience.

I posted a question on 1st January that did not get a response. I am having a ILP fitted on Wednesday and still very worried as I have not had a chance to talk to anyone about this. x
