Hello,I am idaliag I have arthritis the one that bothers me the most are my knees. My left knee is the worst. When I bend it or get up from sitting it feels like it locks and then pops lose and it really hurts.I do workout at a gym 5 times a week, the Orthopedic Dr. did tell me to keep moving. He said it wasn’t ready for surgery.

Moving is good but be sure to stay with low impact activities like swimming, walking, and cycling for example.

It sounds like you might have something loose in you knee. If you can you shoul have it checked by an orthopedic surgeon. It may be possible to rectify the locking with arthroscopy. You probably can’t exercise your way out of the locking.
