My knee pain has made it more difficult to have leisure time and enjoy activities that make me happy. Instead I've found I need to spend my time resting my joints or icing my knees to help recover

Ice after activity is great. I would encourage you to continue to be active and try to find activities that your knee better tolerates. Rest is important but staying active is so critical to your overall health and keeping your muscles strong is really essential, especially your quadriceps (the muscles in the front of your thigh).

Remember that walking is very beneficial for knee pain because it helps rebuild the joint, and can be really enjoyable too! That might be something that could help your pain so you don't have to spend as much time trying to recover.

I find knee pain makes me feel less like taking exercise because I worry about the pain.
