I do have silver threaded gloves and mittens with gloves inside (all one pair) which are brilliant.

Not sure if you have received the latest Newsletter from RSA - they are looking for people to try out new gloves, I met the researcher at the Cardiff RSA conference. So I've put my name down to sample them and see how well these FREE/research gloves are.... So anyone who subscribes to the RSA will have this newsletter and all the details for volunteers. The questionnaire is going out in February and March/April we should be able to try them out

I have been wearing sheepskin gloves this year. They are especially good because I can drive in them.

My daughter has bought special gloves which stay on the handles of the baby's buggy so that you can take your hands out when you need to attend to the baby. They are fur lined. I believe they were originally used on golf buggies.

I have worn sheepskin mittens for years. They are great if my hands are warm before I leave the house, but I need to use heat pads in them if my hands are cold as I can't generate enough heat from my hands myself.

I find that the most important thing is to keep my core body temperature up. Layering is important and avoiding draughs. I use a small electric pad (like a mini electic blanket) on my back and a hot water bottle on my front and legs.. I have an electic cosy toes for my feet if it is really cold. I explain to friends/relations that I can't generate enough heat so need to use external heat. sources. Once I am warm I can get up and do jobs round the house, returning to my 'heat station' when I start to get cold again. It is important not to let my body heat get too low. I sit with all these things and my daughter is in her T shirt!

I have worn sheepskin gloves & mittens for a number of years & do find them to be very warm however I do warm them up first by putting them on the radiator. If it is really very cold I wear a pair of silk liner gloves as well.

I wear sheepskin boots in the house as slippers & they are fabulous & I've even persuaded my husband to wear them in the house now because he's begun to get very cold feet.

I think whatever you try, it's important not to wear things too tight. Last winter, I discovered the 'gentle top' socks in TKMaxx, which don't leave a tight band around your leg when you take them off, and they have helped me a lot. About £4.99 for 3 pairs. Available for men and women

Hello, I always wear sheepskin gloves when driving, although do not find them particularly warm. If not driving then I prefer fingerless gloves under woolly mittens into which I can put a handwarmer.

Yes cant do with out it .Have sheepskin boots from celic cornwall more supportive then ugg and sheepskin slippers i wear 2 pairs of socks short and a long pair .

I can also get my arch supports in both .

Have sheepskin mits as well .Feet are warm most of time ..In shoes i have white toes

not keen on ugg prodgets they seem to be popaler cos of the name and not so well made as celic cornwall

Some friends of ours bought some great mittens online from a store called Radford Leathers in Coventry

They also suffer from Raynauds and found the warmth of the sheepskin really helped them. Go and have a look at their site if you're looking.
