I recently lost an appeal for an industrial injury. The whole procedure was totally alien to me and I wasn't prepared enough for the type of questions the panel asked me. I didn't seek advice prior to the tribunal and basically they tore strips off me. My advice if you haven't already done so is to visit your local CAB and ask for representation. You can rearrange another hearing tomorrow if you need support and more time to prepare The CAB are now acting on my behalf and taking my appeal to a higher tier court hearing...... Best wishes and I hope things work out well in your favour x Good luck x

I've got a face to face assessment coming up for ESA and I'm dreading that. Thanks for the reminder Wartsandall I'd forgotten how much I needed a representative for my DLA tribunal. (I actually don't know why one doesn't accept the report of another???) :(

i went for interview for esa even though i am still on sick from work . they got the wrong date, then when rerarranged had wrong software for forms. I got upset and said how come it wasnt enough my gp and consultant occy health gp along with being under a specialist saying i am not fit for work wasnt enough. Next day the secretary told her boss how bad my arms/hands were and lo and behold i dont have to go for interview for a year.... beggars belief that the word of all the medical professionals isnt enough but the receptionist is!

Hey peeps.... I went last year for my ESA medical and was told by them I had limited snooty to work! When I went to my tribunal today they where really kind and paitent with me and said I could stop at any time... I had had 3 attacks in the morning and to be honest my support worker made me more stressed then they did... Plus she dropped be of while she went to park the car and left me in the freezing cold to wait for her for 10 mins which then brought on another attack, which the lead to us being 15 minutes late as I could hardly walk... So I turned up in a right state freezing cold with 5 layers on and could hardly move talk or anything.... I was there for over two hours and was soo tired... Think it also helped that the judge was also a raynauds sufferer... They couldn't give me a result there and then as they said there was too much info to go through... So now just have to wait hopefully until Fridays post... So fingers crossed peeps x x
