Support groups in Bristol

Hi,

Does anyone know of any support groups in the Bristol area? For the last 7 years I have managed without medication, but I have now been told that I shall have to take imune imobilisers. Obviously not very happy to have to take medication, but I am sensible enough to know that I have to do this. I thought it may be helpful to talk to someone else near me. I have not had contact with anyone else similar to myself, so it can be lonely.

  • Are you a member of the RSA? If so there is a local contact group in the Bath area. The lady who runs it lives near Bristol in Chipping Sodbury. If you are not a member and would like details of how to join please let me know.

  • Hi,

Yes I am a member of RSA. I will have a look on their website for the details. I was aware that there was something in Bath, but hoped there may be something closer in Bristol where I live. Will check it out - thanks
