I am on mycophenalate , don’t know why ?

I am on this and can’t tell any difference, forgot to ask why she has put me on it. Any ideas ?

I also take Mycophenalate, been on it about 20 years with no problems. It is an immuno suppressant to dampen down your immune system.

Hope you get on alright with it.

I take mycophenolate to in combination with biologics has helped decrease inflammation. Keep going you will notice a difference. Been taking it for 18 months now.

It does take quite while to notice it working, it took about 12 weeks with me. Been taking for 10 years, no problems.

I think Mycophenolate is one of the best drugs for slowing the progression of scleroderma but it does have side effects and these should have been discussed with you. You should be starting on a low dose gradually increasing and having blood tests regularly to make sure you are tolerating it okay. Hope this helps.
