Anyone living with Systemic Sclerosis Moray/ Banffshire/Aberdeenshire in Scotland?

I rarely meet anyone with SSc and just wondered how many people are actually living with this horrible disease in my area and what specialists they see/ have experience with 😊

I thought I would reply unfortunately I don’t live in your area but yes I have it too as some do on this group the best place to get answers for me was out of area I visited Royal Free in London you can ask your local Rheumatologist to refer you out of area Mr Christopher Denton scleroderma sub team clinic is where my answers came, they now liaise with my local team to support my treatments and I go up to London once a year I do hope this helps sending you lots of healing thoughts I know it can be very overwhelming and scary when you first get diagnosed x

Hi I live in Fife and have diffuse systemic scleroderma triggered three years ago after getting Long Covid. I’m now 66.

I’m under Dr Bhat at Ninewells and receiving no treatment and little follow up.
