Urgostart Plus dressing

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with a new wound dressing Urgostart Plus. I am seeing a tissue viability nurse & GP surgery nurse, they are trying it on my scleroderma feet ulcers. It has been very successful with diabetic & vascular ulcers apparently, but I have been using it for almost 3 months & still a lot of drainage & far from healed. So just wondered if anyone has used it with success.

Many thanks

Hi Foxglove,

Yes, the sticky side goes on the wound. Have you been given it to try on your ulcers?.

Thanks for reply, yes I am trying it. ( Hospital appt), the podiatry lady put first dressing o and gave me some to do at home myself, next visit 15th so I'm relieved I seem to be applying dressing correctly, only a very small ulcer but a lot of pain! Do you have any thing that needs dressing?

yes, I have an ulcer on each foot, friction wounds from fragile skin. I have had them for 4 years now going through various stages of healing & getting worse. What a horrible disease scleroderma is!!.
