I was diagnosed with scleroderma in 1998. I had been diagnosed with Raynauds before that and Rheumatoid Arthritis. Lucky me!
My hands give me the most bother nowadays. Lots of pain and loss of dexterity.
Does anyone have any tips to soften Calcinosis lumps? I have one on the inside of each thumb and and they cause a lot of pain when I try to grip things.

Hi SheenaC. I had infected calcinosis on my elbow and manuka honey got rid of it. The infection mainly but never had the calcinosis back either. The honey is a bit messy though. I had a dressing on the elbow until it healed so the mess was not a problem. Another good remedy I have been using on any rough skin is Vaseline petroleum jelly. Worth a try
I find as hot a cooled boiled water that you can tolerate with a tiny bit of sodium bicarbonate softens the calcinosis sores on my fingers. Keep them clean afterwards if the calcium deposits are released to avoid infection
