Hi everyone,

I am new to this community so I thought some introduction would be great.

I was diagnosed with Raynaud’s in 2019 but symptoms started on Christmas time (2018) when I woke up and I literally freaked out why my toes and fingers are blue and that made me panicking a lot. So, I went through so many GP appointments and some tests including blood one and in 2019 end of January they told me I got Raynaud’s. Maybe explain why I have, or had as well, this weird pain in my leg I can’t explain and doesn’t allow me to sleep or have this legs relaxed.

So far my life is okay and doesn’t have that big impact on my day to day life but I haven’t have anyone to talk to about it because I don’t know anyone with same syndrome. Kind of made me happy to find this community I can read stories, advise and meet people with same problem.

By the way my name is Michal and hi everyone :).

Hello Michal. You’ll find lots of advice and support here. I’ve had Raynauds for yeas though not the leg pain you describe. Foot cramps yes, when my feet get cold. Keep wrapped up and keep warm!

I don’t know how to do scribe that pain. Maybe cramps is better. I don’t know but yes, keep it warm. Thank you for you reply and advice :).

If it is cramps people might advise taking magnesium, vitamin d etc. But could be worth talking to an osteopath or physio to try to pin down the cause. Are you under a rheumatologist and could also ask them? For me, with different pain and muscle spasms, daily stretching following osteopath’s advice really keeps me on top of it. Other people on here might know more …Good luck!

Hi Michalln,

Welcome. I have Raynaud's and Scleroderma as well as Kidney Disease from Sclero. I too have the leg spasm things or muscle tightening. It is worse when it's cold.

My Dr. advised me to wear Compression Socks, they have super cute ones now with animals and silly prints on Amazon and eBay. Try those all day or for sure at night. I wear as many warm socks and mittens to bed as possible.

I'd been on Vit D for 10 years for a deficiency and it hasn't helped. But it's worth getting your blood level checked.

My Dr. recently order an Arterial Ultra Sound on my legs to check for the reason for the cramping. The results aren't back yet. It's usually a circulation problem causing that. He said my pulses in my feet were so weak they were hard to feel. But I do have low BP.

Make sure to find a good Rheumatologist to help you, and to navigate through any other autoimmune disorders you may have. Raynauds can be stand alone or one of several that someone like myself has like Sjrogens and some others.

Best of luck to you!!!
