Telangiectasia and crest

Does anyone have the “paper money” on their face? I have it on my entire right cheek only. I have a few telangiectasias on my chest right below my neck. On my neck there were three now I see about eight some are quite big.

I am seeing a lot more telangiectasia on my face & hands - I am interested to know what 'paper money' is, as I am now seeing a faint wave of what look like broken capillaries sweeping up my cheeks - started at the jaw line, but now spreading upwards quite uniformly. Not too obvious as yet, but if you press the skin to stop the blood flow & lighted the skin it is more apparent. Does not hurt, itch, or change texture - just odd really

From what I read paper money is telangiectasia but on the face. Just looks like fine broken capillaries. I have it on my entire right cheek and less on my left cheek. Doesn’t hurt or itch. Just many small red and blueish veins.

Ah, thank you for that Lorelle90, well that makes sense. I thought that was just the more densely red coloured splodges - which I also have! So, should I be worried about this - is it leading to something else, or just one of the peculiarities of being me & I should just continue to ignore it?You probably posted looking for answers & you end up answering my questions

I’m not sure what it means but it does say when I search online that the face is one of the areas it affects and on the face it is more like paper money instead of circles, spots, spider angiomas.

I have this it started with a few on the face over the years it’s spreading on my back neck chest and loads more on the face Looking everyday for a solution to remove them hope to find some help one day as it’s not a great look

Yes I know how you feel. I think over the past three to four years mine spread over my cheeks before that it was just a few on my chest.

I don't have it, I have a few broken veins on the surface of my face. I did look it up like most of you have. This webpage was informative and I am posting it in hope it's of use to you.
