Is GI issues common with CREST syndrome or limited scleroderma?

Hi just wondering if GI symptoms such as GERD, upper abdominal bloating, bowel issues are common with CREST or limited scleroderma?

yes, i think it is quite common. I have these issues, and as well as the rheumatologist, i also see a gastro (cant spell the rest!)

Very, it’s one of my main symptoms particularly with SIBO.

yes - your rheumatologist should have explained this to you and if you are experienced problems then he/she can refer you to a specialist.

Yes thank you. No he did not explain to me but I am seeing a gastro next week.

Yes. It all started with GI issues. Rheumy and Gastro don’t work hand in hand, but both help
