Are you sure they were ulcers? Ulcers can take many months to heal usually. Maybe put a photo up.

Hi sorry not been on due to health. Dr said they were ulcers caused by my secondary reynauds. She said the discolouring is the scarred tissue! My feet are now scarred pretty bad from them. In total from start to finish probably had them for 12 weeks . I would put a pic up but not sure how to do this? Thank you for replying Pam

Ulcers can take months to heal, it would take longer than 6 weeks. If you can get a photo up, it would help.

Hi,

For them to be ulcers and heel in six weeks is unheard of as far as I know.

The ones I have on my fingers have been there for three years plus in varying degrees of severity. If they are the same form of ulcer then you are a very lucky lady. With regard to the one toe that is still a different colour then it sounds like there is poor circulation to it. Were I you I would ask the doctor for some "GTN Patches" cut one up and put a piece of it at the base of the toe. About the new size of a postage stamp should do the job. That will open up the capillaries and help the blood flow. Alternatively, ask for some vasodilator's ( personally I'm on 150mg of sildenifil a day) they will help your cause I'm sure.

Good luck with it anyway.

All the best. Mark.
