The only way to prevent them / slow them down is to increase the blood supply. You need a vasodilator (I take 150mg sildenafil per day) GTN patches cut up and put on the back of the hand are effective for the ulcer treatment. However, they caused me to have the headaches from HELL!

Fucibet cream works well if they are already established.

Good luck. I know first hand how excruciatingly painful they can be.

Best. Mark.

This is so strange. And are drs able to say WHY the blood supply is compromised in the first place? From what source?

The Raynauds is causing the capillaries to narrow and constricting the blood supply. That is what Raynauds does by it's very nature.

If I were you I would get to the Rheumatologist and tell him / her that you want some sildenafil PDQ. I'm on 150mg a day as I said. Have been for, oh,,,,,,,,,three odd years now. It dose the trick. End of problem.

Good luck. Mark.
