I'm laying here in bed with the electrical impulses throughout my body . Only get the impulses when I lay down . I do have nerve damage in my left arm . But these impulses started a couple of weeks ago..I'm so tired of not being able to sleep . All my dr did was say see a neurologist .

Hi Tina

Just a thought - are you taking fluoxetine by any chance? I was taking 20mg a day for months with great benefit for circulation and no side effects. Then out of the blue developed similar twitching and sleeplessness. I gradually decreased the dose to zero under medical supervision and no more twitching. I just thought I’d flag that in case it helps.

I had also had a big sore on the end of my finger due to Raynaud's. I was tried on lots of medications that didn't help at all. I even had a sympathectomy on both hands. Finally I found a rheumatologist who prescribed sildenafil (it's actually a form of Viagra) which finally helped it to heal some. The one thing that helps some is to keep your entire body warm, not just your hands and feet.
