K so recently, when I’m out walking after about 8 minutes my hand start to turn white except the tips but they get really hot and start sweating. After I stop walking and take a rest they get blotchy for about a minute then return to my regular hands. What do you think it is? This pic is after about 15 minutes of walking today:

Hi, it may be a bit of liquid concentrating in your hands because of gravity. Do they feel swollen and stiff? I get that when I walk and it makes my hands look like your picture. Does not look like Raynauds with the pink finger tips. Best, Pino
Hi, my hands do tend to go like that and I have quite bad raynaud's and scleroderma, swelling of the fingers, xxxx
My hands became swollen etc when out walking. I hadn’t got Raynauds or a Scleroderma diagnosis at that point - it happened for a couple of years or so before the nasties actually kicked in. I often wonder if all these little signs were an indicator of something else brewing??
I'm afraid you have Raynaud's. Look on the Raynaud's Association website and kit yourself out with their 12% silk gloves and socks. I swear by them. This year, for the first time, my hands have been particularly bad but I've been through a particularly bad flare and lots of stress. STRESS TRIGGERS A RAYNAUD'S FLARE! Have you been under a lot of stress lately?
Hope you get answers

Hi Idunnowhat

I agree with Linda-l that this is Raynauds.
The white areas are from capillaries constricting blood flow. As the blood flow returns the area will fill warm and swollen. The patterns can vary a lot. Numbness can happen too. You can place your hands under WARM water until they pink up again to restore the circulation.
If you let this blood constriction go on too long it does tissues damage. Over time you can develop digital ulcers or nerve damage or gangrene. Proper care of this condition is imperative.
Best wishes to get it sorted dear.
