Intestinal bacterial overgrowth

Hi Everyone,

Can anyone advise me please..... Is it Endoscopy or Gastroscoy tha you need to have overgrowth diagnosed? Thanks everyone.

I agree with the Bear, a breath test is what I had. Moderate overgrowth was confirmed and I have antibiotics for it every other month.

Thank you Duttie, my Gastroentrologist didn't mention breath test. Just said Colonoscopy, but that is the colon!!!! Seems like a lot expense and procedure for nothing. I see Rheumatologist 2nd Feb. So will chat with her and go from there. Thanks clearing it up.

Try apple cider vinegar instead of antibiotics look up the benefits try it If even to compare as google it first the Bragg’s bottle 🙂

Hi there I have serious SIBO and my breath had been foul for a few yrs, recently iv started drinking apple cider vinegar just a tablespoon diluted before a meal and my bad breath is gone check out the benefits of it I buy the Bragg’s bottle in Holland and Barrett’s it’s amazing stuff!!

Well Fuchia how did U get on ? Did u try th apple cider vinegar yet get a friend smell ur breath before h start taking it then after a day sn see the difference let me know how u get on 🙂

Hi Fruitpastle, I meant to o update after all your trouble if replying originally. Started Apple cider on Monday. Taste isn't top of my list of 1 - 10😛 It seems to have made a difference. I didn't think to get anyone to smell my breath before hands though! As long as it works or Ben just helped. That is fine by me. Hope your health is good at mo. Roll on the warmer weather.
