MEDICATION

Hi Everyone. Have any of you been given medication that has helped with tight skin that has had any effect? The skin on my legs and arms is so tight it is making my knees, elbows and ankles very painful and extremely stiff. I have seen on some of the American websites that some people have had relief from medication but have not heard of anything here in England. Thank you. Roselda

Hi Lilajoe, thanks for your reply. When trying to find out more about scleroderma, I came across the American website where sufferers of this awful condition were saying that they had been given medication that has helped with tight skin. When I asked my Rheumy about it he said that there was no such thing. So that was that. The skin on my legs and arms is so tight that I can hardly bend my ankles, knees and wrists. At present I am taking methotrexate and only just been prescribed Fluoxetine for circulation. Take care. Roselda
