Not Carpol tunnel what is it then

Hi ppl i went to see a doc for suspected carpol tunnel as I was reffered to by my gp for hand pain etc ..he asked where the pain is etc asked if I have had xrays nerve test etc I said no so I'm booked in for them now ....but at the end he also said that some of my symptoms are not carpol tunnel......i get constant pins n needles in ring an little finger i kno thats not carpol that's possible unlar nerve compression in elbow ..but I also get pains on the top of wrist aswell as underneath an cramps in thumb tingling in other fingers and freezing cold fingers hand pain always in evening bedtime on occasions woken by freezing cold arm/hand at night with sickly kind of pains also my fingertips are red when hands are cold my hands are normally pale in colour when warm or cold .......anyone have any ideas what's going with me ...I'm 47yrs old ive never felt pains in my hands like this before thanks Steve

Hi Steve. Are you going to see a rheumatologist? If not, I definitely would. And I would have them check for Scleroderma. (it's just a thought, so don't get too caught up on this / read the scary stuff on google until you got things confirmed

Hi no I've not seen rheumatologist as yet ..just got my x-ray appointment for next Monday an still waiting for nerve test I have seen rheumatologist in past but that was for problems with my neck which still having but I have been discharged an put onto pain clinic but i don't go anymore as i missed 1 appointment because i couldn't drive or get there rang up to explain but didn't receive another appointment
