It's the standard treatment. I have had no side effects.

My blood pressure dropped so badly I couldn't sit upright, had to discontinue after a few days.

Hi, I used to take nifedipine, for my raynauds, unfortunately it made my headaches worse. I now take Amlodipine 10mg once a day, amazingly the headaches and migraines I used to have regularly, seem to have practically disappeared, a very nice side effect!! It also seems to have made my raynauds better.

I too suffered with low blood pressure to an extent that some days I couldn't get out of bed. I have now stopped taking them and feel a whole lot better. At the moment I am taking nothing but even with the Adalat I saw no difference to my chronic Raynauds.

I was taking Nifedipine but it caused calcium to build up in my body so I now take Adizem (Diltiazem Hydrochloride) no problems so far.

I took nifedepine but i had side effects aswell...

Very hot legs and palpitations so I've stopped now
