Ive never been a morning person always awake until 12-1am then wake up 8ish. My previous job I mainly worked in the evenings until 10pm occasionally had to get to work for 5.30am.
I have recently started a new job but its 6am start 2 days a week. I accepted the role as it was just doing 2 days rather than 5 so would give me more time at home. However I’m just struggling to get to sleep I’m either almost forcing myself to sleep around 10 which obviously doesn’t work or I lay awake until I feel sleepy but that’s usually after midnight so inevitably I’m tired when I have to get up around 5. I’m then finding the day after I’m just exhausted so my extra time at home is wasted.
I’ve tried all the usual things to help but I just can’t seem to change my sleep patterns
