New here and narcoleptic

Hi I've recently been diagnosed with narcolepsy after struggling to find an explanation for my sudden onset of chronic fatigue/excessive daytime sleepiness. Part of me is concerned of a misdiagnosis as I have never had the classic "sleep attack" people think of as narcolepsy but I did have a sleep study done and that's what I was told. I hope this is accurate though because I've been struggling to find answers for the past ten months now.

Anyway, just thought I'd say hello and if anyone has any tips for managing fatigue, especially exhaustion despite sleeping well, I would love to hear it!

I have very similar fatigue and sleepiness problems. And I can sleep for extremely long periods of time. 12, 14, even up to 22 hours . I'm scheduled for a sleep study. I sure hope they can find out what's going on with me and find a solution.

I am currently reading The Nocturnal Brain by Guy Leschzinger ( well actually listening to it on phone ) it is brilliant and answers so many questions about sleep and in my case long un-diagnosed Sleep Apnea. He is a top London Consultant.
