I started drinking Yakult since a study found that reduced risk of respiratory tract infections. My insomnia seemed to improve a bit and it also seemed to reduce anxiety (which is due to nothing - no psychological stressors; it seems to be related to dysautonomia symptoms).
So I did a quick internet search and found this thoughtful news article on a research study that found Yakult improved sleep:
I had run out earlier in the week and day before yesterday got a new grocery order and drank 2 shots. Slept relatively well that night and anxiety was much better. The next morning I did not have any problems with constipation, which is sometimes an issue for me.
Yesterday I just had the usual one shot and had an awful night. My HRV score this morning was 45, which is below average for me. A couple of weeks ago my HRV score was averaging around 60; This past week it has been the overall average has been in the low 50's but it has been very erratic (one day it was 72). Other factors are probably contributing, like my menstrual cycle (which Elite HRV doesn't seem to have the option to track for some weird reason). I also stopped doing my fenugreek sprout tea just because I forgot to make sprouts again - that's to support myelination since I believe I may be in the early stages of Multiple System Atrophy.
