MY WIFE HAS JUST BEEN DIAGNOSED WITH SKIN CANCER RIGHT ON THE TIP OF HER NOSE... want to know if the cure rate is just as effective with radiation, cryotherapy as with mohs surgery?
In fact which of Radiation, Cryoblation and/or Mohs has the best cure rate ?
We don't want her disfigured with surgery ... however if Mohs is the best and performed by a plastic surgeon..should that work out without scarring?
All responses appreciated.....thanks

Hello there I had a bcc in the same place on the nose, nodular and quite deep. I chose radiation therapy which worked and healed well after some redness (3 weeks of brachytherapy). Undetectable now. Have also had six other bccs in other places and a melanoma which were dealt with by excision.
I underwent MOHs on my nose in 2019. MOHs has high cure rates, often surpassing 98% for primary tumors. Cosmetic outcomes can be good, especially with a skilled surgeon. If you ever want to discuss in more detail or need some insight, please don't hesitate to reach out. Sending strength and positivity to you and your wife.
