Pericarditis and sjogrens

Hi does anyone on here suffer with recurrent pericarditis with their sjogrens? I do not have dry eyes but suffer with dry mouth. The recurrent pericarditis can be difficult to deal with. What works best for it?

As well as Sjogen's , I also have RA and Vasculitis so I am at risk of Pericarditis. Haven't got it yet, but I'd be very interested in any replies you might have.

I can not relate, but have you talked to your doctor about whether its inflammation or /and a fungal bacterial problem? depending on that would probably be their course of treatments. anti-inflammatory or antibacterial/anti-fungal treatments. but I would ask the doctor, I could be wrong.

Thank you for reply. Rheumatology doctor says it's just unfortunate that the sjogrens I have gives me recurrent pericarditis. Am on colchicine, diclofenac, omeprazole and hydroxychloroquine to keep pericarditis at bay but it does reoccur

I took pleurisy a few months before the pericarditis occurred. After the 2nd occasion of pericarditis in a few months was diagnosed with sjogrens which was the underlying cause. I believe the pleurisy kick-started it all
