Hi all!
Has anyone experienced foot drop as a neuropathy symptom?
Just wondering if it's all connected with SS somehow and also if anyone found it to be long lasting or temporary.
TIA

You should get an EMG done as soon as possible to rule out central nervous system involvement. Rarely Sjögren’s can cause Mononeuritis Multiplex which could cause foot drop. So I wouldn’t hang about - straight to your neurologist if you have one! If not go to your A&E and tell them about foot drop.

Thanks for your response - I got in touch with my GP who, (as you suggested) also said to get to a neurologist quickly on suspicion of MS.
I had MRI scans done and thankfully there is no issue there, neurologist suspects the foot drop is unrelated - perhaps a damaged nerve during a long flight.
Thought I'd give you the update and thanks again for taking the time to respond!
I can say I drop a lot more things like the hands have lost strength on a random basis and i trip a lot more not diagnoses with foot drop so cant help there
