So sorry for all your pain. I have Sjögrens and neuropathy, and RA. Etc, and oddly got some relief from finger pain through carpal tunnel injections. I thought any approach to neuropathy had to be centralized and deal with causes, so I had resisted treatment of individual symptoms. Just a thought about your hands. I have tendonitis and arthritis in mine as well but the shooting pains were capal tunnel. All the best.
I asked my neurologist to refer me to a hand surgeon and got injections in the wrists. A year ago EMG and nerve conduction test showed carpal tunnel as well as small and large fiber damage. I resisted, because of a lack of dx for progressive neuropathy. Now, I am grateful for any relief I can get! Good luck!
I just saw this. You know you posted this three months but I still don’t know how this chat thing works. But I saw that you take plaquenil. I have been taking that since I was 16 for my Lupus. It saved my life. Put me right in remission.
