Hydroxy and Levothyroxine

Hi

Does anybody have Hashimotos and Sjogrens and take both Hydroxy and Levo?

Have you been well on these medications and do they affect each other? Does Hydroxy affect Hashi in anyway?

I take both those medications since I have Sjogrens, lupus and hypothyroidism. As far as I know the meds do not affect each other. I’ve been taking both since 2014.

I take both medications and haven’t had any problems. Since adding hydroxy, symptoms I thought were related to thyroid have significantly improved, there are a lot of similar symptoms with hashimoto’s and Sjögren’s. So in my case adding hydroxy was a god send! They take a while to kick in and if you forget to take them you notice returning symptoms quickly. 💐💐
