Weekend break???
I have found that I push myself too hard at times & when I stop for a break/rest/holiday everything crashes around me - mouth, eyes, hip pain, tiredness (exhaustion/fatigue) all hit at once.
Sounds like your weekend was worth it? Hope you get over it soon xx
Absolutely I suffer like that, and I'm sorry to hear you're paying the piper for your lovely vacation. Not sure if I'm right, but I always blame fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue syndrome for these episodes of exhaustion after some activity. I'm unable to work now, and it's gotten to the point that if I have to shop or attend a family event, or just want to meet friends for a bit, I pretty much have to rest the day before and the day after. It drives me crazy to be so limited in activity, but it's the only way I can survive. I've had FMS/CFS for 20 years, Sjogren's for at least 6 years, and Dercum's Disease for about 2 years. This elevated level of pain & exhaustion has plagued me for about 4 years.
I thought I was just lazy. I sleep badly. Sunday night I couldn't sleep till 6am then slept till lunch time
When I do have a good night sleep I get up have breakfast and often sleep for the rest of the day.
If I go out for a couple of hours I am exhausted. Takes the next day to get over it.
Aches and pains all over plus my arms feel like lead.
I also get blurry vision when I first sit up but if I roll over in the dark I see silver flashes. Is this all to do with sjogrens?
Hi Xxxxxx
I was like that before i started treatment- plaquenil and rituximab. Things have improved a bit, not tired all the time and muscle and joint pain not as severe. Are you on treatment? It is a long haul managing sjorgrens😟
