Does anyone have a crawling sensation in their throat? I do and I tend to panic. Looking for some advice. Thanks

Not so much a crawling feeling but sometimes I feel like there is some sort of blockage and I also tend to panic. It scares me. Not sure if anyone else experiences this. I have found that sipping water can sometimes help.

My throat swells/closes suddenly and it scares me because I'm not sure it will stop swelling or close completely. Chomping on a cup of ice blocks reduce the swelling within minutes. I was wondering if it was from a food allergy, or stress but it seems to be tied to the swollen salivary glands & lymph problems I'm having. I'm also suffering with Rosacea and Tourettes style tics and twitches which seem to be getting worse/harder to suppress. Anyone else have similar issues?

Throat irritation is part of SS I also have the same complaint. The only relief I know of is to ease it with water. it is an awful sensation and can be worse in the winter months. Avoid certain foods that can aggravate the condition such as dry toast, cake, biscuits and any drinks etc such as alcohol and some brands of fruit drinks. I constantly chew gum or other brands of confectionary to increase the saliva flow as it is the lack of it (saliva) that causes the problem. Try to avoid any products to chew that contain too much suger.
