An apology

I am afraid I haven't been a super attentive admin for our group over the past three months or so. Both my parents have been in and out of the hospital multiple times, and live 1800 miles away from me. I have spent more time on airplanes that I have ever wanted, and this past Friday my Dad passed away. So I am going to be flying again tomorrow and with family for his funeral later this week.

Any of you who are caregivers, or who have been a caregiver, know that loved ones that are fighting health issues can turn your world upside down, and personal time becomes a luxury item!

I hope to be much more active with all of you again starting next week, and I am sorry that I have not been as responsive as I would like to be. I would love to see us grow our numbers and all of us be more active in replying to questions and requests for help from other members on this board.

Thank you everyone!

It is so sad to hear about your dad. You have nothing to apologise for. You have had a tough time. I hope things get much better for you. Bless you and your family. Barry

I am sorry for your loss. I know what it is like to lose a parent. It was very hard when my dad passed away, but than a year later my mother, and both sisters passed on. It's difficult, and I think of them often. Lots of triggers create memories. We learn to cherish those, and move on.
