I joined 3 weeks ago voluntary and have had my medical came back A1

The problem is I am SCT and fine to date but the work intended for the course will be very strenuous.

Should I back track now SCT being a concern

The problem with SCT is that it can go bad very quickly under very strenuous activities. Tackling fires and running is going to affect you oxygen levels because of the sickle cells. I am sure there are fire fighters who can advise you on how best to approach this issue. The same goes for SCT who join the army. Most are fine until the rigorous regime begins.
