Women with uterine cancer can join Leah Hamel, LCSW and peers via video or phone to talk about “Fear of Recurrence”.

A diagnosis of uterine cancer is often accompanied by the fear of recurrence. Uncertainty and anxiety are often experienced in waves related to upcoming appointments, physical symptoms, or even news about another cancer survivor’s experience. Learning how to care for yourself in the midst of these heavy thoughts and feelings takes time and practice. We'll come together and discuss strategies for sharpening your self-awareness and building your coping skills.
