Hi ladies, Hope everyone is carrying on well. My mom received her CT report back and everything was unremarkable with the exception of one node slightly increased.
Did anyone have this and what were the next steps?

There are a couple of likely scenarios. 1) watch and continue to monitor for any further change or 2) depending on where it is and how big the node is, they may suggest surgery to remove it. Depending on other factors, there may be some other treatments like the PARP inhibitors that they may recommend. While I haven't had that specific situation, I have had a friend who was. Periodically she would get an enlarged node and usually they would remove it and often she would go on a maintenance drug like a PARP inhibitor. Did you Mom have an elevated CA125 or is she experiencing any symptoms?
thank you for the reply! My moms ca125 is 9 - the ca125 has always been a good indicator. I know she would be eligible for a parp. I am just hoping for the best 🙏🏽 She’s currently on avastin for her first reoccurance
Hi, I hope your Mum is doing well. I’ve just been with my oncologist because of increased growth in my lymph node in the pelvic area. It’s attached to a vein so the surgeon couldn’t remove it during debulking. It showed growth in my January scan. I’m on Avastin and my ca125 had decreased after my first infusion. So now they’ve decided to scam me again in April and continue with the Avastin till then. If there is more growth they will put me on two chemos, can’t remember the names off hand. Good luck to your Mum
