Zejula & insurance
Hi, I am on Zejula for 2 years now. My cancer center helped me to get financial aid.
I had grants and when they ran out, I have been getting it from manufacture. You have to have low income to qualify. I have been very lucky that it never has cost me anything.
Check with your doctor ,they should be able to help. Or contact manufacture.
Hope this helps.

I was asked about my out of pocket costs before I was funded and able to get Zejula. I was allowed so much $ that would cover first month, left over money out of that paid towards second month. By third month, funding was accepted for my getting Zejula for the rest of the year . I haven't paid anything yet.I really dont understand how it all works but with cost of zejula and other expenses, they said I was able to qualify and get it free for remainder of year and then, I guess, I will have to go thru funding again. It was the PAN Foundation that handled this. They contacted me by phone. Then some pharmacy takes control of getting the drug and shipping it to me , they call a week or so before I am out of the pills and have it delivered within a day or two.
I’m curious as to what Zejula benefits are in fighting OC? Does tumor have to express a certain mutation/gene?
I have a $33.00 co-pay for 90 capsules (100 mg.) for my Zejula rx. I get this through Express Scripts because my husband was in the military. I have been taking it "off and on" since March 27, 2020. I started out with 300 mg., but 2 weeks of that gave me very high blood pressure, felt palpitations, and made me very "edgy" to the point of shaking, so my Dr. took me off of it for 2 weeks and than resumed with 200 mg. for 11 weeks. Sept. 16th , my WBC, RBC and platelets all went DOWN. On Sept. 24 my HGB was only 8.5! I'm still on 200 mg., my B.P. is down ok now. I'll have another blood test on Oct. 15th, so we'll see what happens. Obviously, the oncologists are learning as they go - it's a challenge to regulate the dose because every one is so different in the response to Zejula.
Would you mind telling me your insurance company? Mine is switching in January because of corporate costs. Ugh.
