Colonoscopy

Hi folks back again after a break. Back in the system. Colonoscopy tomorrow. Have taken the piclax at 5-30 this eve now 9-40 pm still nothing happening. I take second dose in the morning at 7 am . Is this usual. Am a bit anxious.

Hope it sorted itself by now. I was given an enema before my sigmoidoscopy and that definitely works so I assume you will have that just before your colonoscopy

Hope it's gone OK by the time you read this, Dee. It's never an easy thing, is it? Hope it's just as a precaution too.

hi thanks Wendy, its severe diverticulitis throughout colon, as it was so difficult and painful due to scar tissue they are referring me for a colon CT scan.Next wednesday I go in to have the hernias repaired. thanks again Dee

Another op? Oh dear, but I'm sure it'll be worth it. I hope it'll solve the problem for you. My Mum has diverticulitis and it's no joke, is it? If you come along to COPES, have a word with Sue, she'll understand. Good luck with getting it sorted out.
