Has anyone been prescribed Itovebi along with Ibrance and Fulvestrant? The possible side effects of Itovebi seem harsh. It was only FDA approved in mid-October.

Yes, Frenchgirl, I have been prescribed Itovebi. Have not receieved it yet....the mail order pharmacy is trying to get prior approval so I am waiting on that before they will send. I am so apprehensive about side effects....I have had so many problems and have not any regimen work well so far. I am about 2 years and 8 months into this.I am er, pr+ and her2+ or low+ but I akso have pik mutation. I could not tolerate Piqray. I had read that this seemed to have an easier side effect profile. I hope so, I am too weak for anything other. It will be added to my Verzenio and Fulvestrant regimen. I pray this works for you so well and that it is an easy regimen for you.

Hello Frenchgirl. I am in UK and on a clinical trial with Inavolisib (Itovebi) and Fulvestrant only. (I'd previously been on Palbo/Ribo when I had some progression). I was concerned when I read the huge list of potential side effects but three months in and I am very happy with it. No noticeable side effects, blood sugar well within the normal range (I take a lot of care over my diet) and, most importantly, scans showing it has halved my small liver mets by 50% and pretty much halted bone mets (these scans were at 2 months and I have just started my 4th month).

Of course, we are all different but I'm finding it very manageable so far. I think the Itovebi is kinder in general than the Piqray alternative. At the moment it is not available in the UK so I'm exceedingly grateful for a) getting on the trial just before it closed and b) getting the Inavolisib and not the Alpelisib (Piqray).

Good luck!

Thank you so much for the information. I, too, am concerned about all the potential side effects. I haven’t started it yet. It was only prescribed to me on Monday.

The FDA has approved itovebi (inavolisib) plus Ibrance (palbociclib) and Faslodex (fulvestrant) ...is anyone taking this trio?

If you are taking it, had you previously used Ibrance until it failed? I'm on Piqray and faslodex...
