I got a call a bit ago--mnow schedualed with radiation onc first thing tomorrow! I am really happy, LOL! Hoping rads can help with my balanve issues! I was able to put on my ankle braces and custom ortho shoes all by myself today, first time! Had 'em for nearly a month. I had a melt down a few days ago,: tired, over whelmed and hating being so unlike my normal self, bright, independent, capable.......
My step-daughter is going to see the BC onc in Miami iin two days. It makes me feel old and rigid to not know what to call her very serious boyfriend. When he's here, we call hin by his name -duh- and our sion-in-law. He's the one we've been dog sittin g for. He, and his dog, are drivinmg down to Fl now, and he'll go to that appt with her. We're sooo glad she won't be alone right now. He lives with her in the winter as he's laid off in he bad weather since highway construction stops! He supervises projects. I do wish they would get married!
I made turkey soup yesterday and just had some for a late lunch My husband does not eat turkey except for Thanksgiving dinner, so I to send some leftovers home with family who do, LOL, but this year I was left with alot of leftovers. Wish I could give it to some charity that feeds people here but there isn't one. before cancer I would have tried to get one started!
I hope we all have a great rest of the year!

Good for you; glad you're making headway and I always have to remind myself "one day at a time". I'm glad we only get one at a time! God bless you and heal us all in Jesus name, amen! <3
Good luck with the rads! I hope they fix things for you! When your stepdaughter's "very serious" boyfriend needs an introduction, I'd refer to him as "son-in-law" since they live together as husband and wife. In Canada (and, I presume, elsewhere), the formal marriage certificate doesn't really change anything legally or otherwise. Best of Wishes, Cindy
Sending positive thoughts that the radiotherapy will bring the help you need for your balance issues. Sending prayers for your step-daughter. Hoping she gets good information and a treatment that will work and not cause too many side effects.
