hi everyone,

my dad has had MBC since June of 2022. He has been on Ibrance, letrozole, lupron, and xjeva. His Mets were to bone and then he was NED for a year from June 2022 to June 2023. In July he took a PET scan and it showed a slight uptake of activity to his chest wall. Plan was to keep him on his current meds and re-scan 2-3 months. His repeat PET scan is tomorrow. Please keep us in your thoughts. He has been feeling great, playing lots of activities like tennis and golf, and tumor markers have continued to stay within normal range. I hope this is a good sign

Sending hugs and prayers to your dad. Hope he has great scan results. Glad he is able to stay active, I think that is so important on this journey. Keep us posted.

Definitely a good sign. (When I was really active, my cancer stayed under control -- NEAD twice -- but side effects have limited my activity this year and I had some progression. Linked maybe?)
