good morning I have been on Ibrance almost 5 years and have been on multiples of the Hormone blockers. I was just wondering if anyone has developed any kind of shaking or tremors in your their hands or whole body I’m having both issues. some days it’s not there some days it’s there a little bit somedays it’s there quite a bit. I can feel my whole body shaking. Thank for any feedback you have to offer.

prayers for all!!

Normalee,I have what I call "the shakes" and need to take Alprazalam to calm my body. A few times even my teeth chattered😳.

I have been on Anastrozol,Chemo Taxol infusions,IBrance,Xeloda, Verzenio+Tamoxifen and am now beginning Fulvestrant+Afinitor (if I can find a manufacturer discount plan or a grant for the $3000 co-pay on Afinitor).

I was first diagnosed with BC in 2016.Had a double mastectomy but no further treatment until it metastisized to liver and bones in 2018.

With all these treatments I remained stable until my last scan which showed progression in my liver and now shown in my stomach lining 😞

No wonder we shake😏

Thank you so much for responding. Ours sounds so similar except I did not have a mastectomy. I just had the lump ectomy, but our time frames are identical, but my shaking is definitely getting worse and I honestly feel like it’s the medication‘s so I will speak to my oncologist about it I pray nothing but good health for you. Thank you.

The manufacturer definitely has a program to help. I am on it. My oncology office helped to arrange it. There was an application to fill out, but they helped me with that. Definitely look into it!

It may be peripheral neuropathy

I definitely have that.

I really think you should see your doctor. This could be a new health condition unrelated to the Ibrance. With love xx

this is the sort of thing I would call my onc about. Not at 2 am but as soon as I could. New possible side effects need to be brought to our oncs right away.

I'm so sorry you are experiencing this and definitely agree with others here that you should bring this to your doctor's attention. I have not heard of this kind of side effect before. I hope you get some answers and a good solution. Sending hugs and prayers.

Normalee,My Oncologist is aware of my shaking .I have always been emotionally unstable and take Escitalopram for that. Now I have been given Alprazalam to try and combat my anxiety over my current life.

Thank God I have a magnificent husband who understands what I am going through and does everything he can to try and help me 💜

I too have Nueropathy in my hands and feet due to the initial Taxol infusions....it doesn't seem to be the reason for my shakes.

Hopefully you can get another opinion. If you do,please let me know so I can ask my newest oncologist 🙄

I was on Ibrance 100 mg for 3.5 years from age 62-65. No shaking…. I hope you find the cause!

it's interesting how others received no treatment after a mastectomy. I would have liked to have scans as well mammograms because my initial cancer was not detectable that way, or by ultrasound. The cancer recurred in a lymph node after 2 years, and possibly in my spine, so after 12 weeks of tamoxifen, I have been on Perjeta and Herceptin, plus zometa, for 3 years. I think I had some tremors before treatment, but it was getting worse and my Primary Care doctor tested me for Parkinson's just to be sure. It's not, but it gets worse when I'm tired or under stress. I used to have neat handwriting, now it can be illegible even when printing in all caps. Frustrating when I can't read my own notes! I have peripheral neuropathy, too. And now I get scans every 6 months, to make sure no new mets!

Wow I’m sorry you’ve gone through so much. I’m glad you are getting regular scans now.

Urthmothr,I too wonder why my surgeon found no need to offer scans after my bi-lateral mastectomy.I was just given anastrozol .I took that for two years and then found out my cancer had metastisized to my liver and bones🥺

I'm currently on Xeloda and have developed the weirdest little tremor in my left hand. I keep forgetting to report it to my oncologist, but will, for sure, this coming week. I always thought I was really lucky to have no tremors at 76, but good old Xeloda can always be counted on to produce really nasty side-effects. I have hand&foot syndrome too and my memory is barely functioning some days. But I'm here posting...so.....
