Our youngest daughter moved to the Florida Keys about five weeks ago and has been sending uus photos of the rising water. Her area has had water on the roads and wind but it's been alot less destruction than we hear about a bit farther north. What a horrible thing for so many! This has sure been in our thoughts and prayers this week.

Made it though another hurricane. We were very fortunate, so many weren't. Tuesday the prediction had the eye headed right at us, by Wednesday the storm moved farther east and made landfall about 200 miles south of us. Mother Nature chooses her own path. I have been through many hurricanes in my 67 years of life, coming from coast of New York to coast of Florida. It is the downside of living by the ocean/gulf. Today is my birthday and once again I count my blessings. I pray for those that were not so lucky yesterday.

Thank you! I look at the time we are given as a gift. We have been blessed to be going through this God awful disease at a time when there are medications to prolong our time.

So glad it changed course! We lived in St Petersburg and still have friends there so we were so concerned. Thank God the storm didn't go right through your area.
