hi all, I am about to start 4 weeks of radiation to my T6 vertebrae and a hillier node in my chest. I am a bit apprehensive about side effects etc. over 11 years since I last has radiation so very worried I will be exhausted. Diagnosed with mets in Nov 21 currently on first line of treatment palbocilib and fulveserant injections.

Hi BritSammy, sorry I don’t have any experience of this just yet, but will be interested to see what replies you get as I am considering radiotherapy to a rib, which is extremely painful. I am just waiting for the results of my most recent CT scan to see if there has been any further progression in my bones or anywhere else, scanxiety has set in big time.

You will probably be very fatigued but you will deal with this and all the other side effects just like before. It is generally a painless treatment so be thankful for this. But you come out the other end better for it. Just keep that in mind.
