I have been on ibrance and faslidex for a little over six years. Lately I experienced a slight lip tingling on my lower lip. Had Ct scan of the brain as well as MRI with no evidence of any issues . Went to check my eyes snd cardiac with all good results. Has anyone experienced this as a result of ibrance or faslodex? Any ideas or thoughts?

ibrance and lip tingling
Today I received my regular Xgeva shot in the arm + my 1st. Faslodex shots (1 in both cheeks 😖) & is my bum sore! (Using the real English case of polite company). Nurse said that would go away soon. Took my Ibrance an hour before. Chilling in bed reading post & waiting to see what effects (if any) I'll have.
I walk alot after shots and use a heating pad for soreness
I packed mine in the closet for the summer. I'll have to dig it out. Thanks for the tip. 👍
O have had lop tingling and fihirr it'd a side effect of lbra m ce. I don't dee it mentioned in the literature - it'd probably under reported. We knew the med causes peripheral neuropathy - th I s is probably one manifestation of that hypoxia ow oxygen le el) can cause tis - l know that's not the reason for me.
Hi. I was on Letrozole and Ibrance from 2019 until 3 months ago when it stopped working for me. I did not have the lip tingeing then.
However, they started me on Falsodex and just last week Kasqali. Every time I take the Kasqali my bottom lip tingles for about an hour or two. I have no idea why. Also my right hand will slightly shake for a bit after taking Kasqali. Then it all goes away.
A nurse from Novartis called me before I started taking Kasqali and said she would be calling during my treatment and for me to tell her anything happening that is not listed already as a side effect. So when I talk with her I will be sure to mention it. If she has a solution I’ll come back and share with you.
Wishing you a happy day 😁💕
I'm on the same meds. It happens to me once in a while.
When I was on fulvestrant (brand name Faslodex) I always got a tingling in the lower lip after the injections. Went away after awhile. Since then I have noticed other meds that cause that too--like my medical THC I take for sleep. Not sure what causes it. Also--they should be injecting fulverstrant in the "ventrogluteal" muscle. Best spot to avoid hitting the sciatic nerve. Google it and you will see diagrams that show where to inject--so you know if your injections are being done correctly. My nurses always used their hand to measure--as the diagrams show. I never got injected in the "cheek" of the gluteal muscle. Best to you!
I have no answers except to say WOW to 6 years on iBrance! What a fabulously long run! If you get no answers from the others, perhaps a neurologist? Or a bone scan (if the CT was for the brain vs the bones)
