Ladies my sister was in the hospital with severe pain the MRI showed Mets to skull and full spine plus she has bone and liver the dr did 5x radiation to her left side she still sees double the Mets are pressing in her nerve and eye she can’t see very well the uncoligeust says the only thing left to give her taxol that’s it 😱😂I don’t understand she said nothing out there she was on inbrance for two years then falsdox three months x Eva 6 months please help she’s going to get IV taxol anyone took I can’t believe there’s nothing else for her she’s 40 with small kids please help

So sorry to hear. That’s just so sad. St. Margaret Hospital here in Toronto in the number 1 hospital in the world for breast cancer research!

I know people who have travelled around the world looking for a cure in Switzerland and Germany and those hospitals referred them right back here!

So sorry to hear that your sister is in the hospital in the serious condition. If possible, the 2nd opinion maybe helpful to provide other options. She is in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏

Did she get a brain MRI? If there are Mets in the brain, maybe taxol isn't enough because taxol doesn't really penetrate the blood-brain barrier. If only the skull Mets are causing the symptoms, taxol might be fine. Definitely get a second opinion!

It’s so upsetting we all know it hurts. I had taxol for treatment when I was first diagnosed and I had some of those same symptoms. Do you see the oncologist when she does? Maybe you both need to talk with the oncologist. Pain meds can help.

Hello, I am sorry your sister is in such pain and with all those horrible symptoms. Have they suggested whole brain radiotherapy? That is a treatment option if she has got brain mets. I just finished five days of radiotherapy daily (two weeks ago). I am losing all my hair and have been sleepy with some headaches. But overall the side effects are not too bad. If it is mets in the brain that are causing her symptoms, then this is maybe another treatment option.
