here's a link to the list of top cancer centers in the US, mostly affiliated with medical schools. Most of the bc oncs who do major research and give presentations at major bc conferences work at these cancer centers. Worth getting a second opinion at one of these cancer centers, esp when big treatment decisions have to be made, cancer.gov/research/infrast...

I agree 100%!!! I always get a 2nd opinion from MD Anderson Houston even though I live in Florida. ❤️🙏❤️

MD Anderson has a huge reputation. One of the top places. And Texas had the top annual bc conference that oncs attend, the San Antonio BC Symposium in December.

Thank you - good to see Northwestern in Chicago on here. I go there. I knew they were ranked 6th but unaware it was a comprehensive cancer center. Thanks for sharing

Yeah, Northwestern Cancer Center has a great reputation! The Midwest is lucky to it! U of Chicago is a CCC, too, so the Chicago area has great choices. I go to U of Mi CCC, but Northwestern is where I would go next if I needed one more opinion....

I have been going to MDA 4 years every 3-6 months. My local oncologist sees me monthly for lab work. I live in north Alabama.
