For the first time in awhile I put on real clothes (not joggers and T-shirt) and went to a church service with mask on of course. I felt good it was nice to see my church family. Everyone was in good spirits and happy to be in person it is going on over two years. Amazing what a little lipstick and eyelashes will do for your spirits. Smile

Hi, I’m so glad your in high spirits. I absolutely agree how good it feels to glam up a little ( well at least get out of sweats in my case) and get back to doing what we all used to do pre-Covid….well almost as I still keep masked up and always have a hand sanitiser around 😃Best wishes to you!

Know what you mean! I actually dug my old makeup case out of the back of the linen closet last week. I wasn't sure if I remembered HOW to put it on! Lol.It's great you feel up to getting out.👍

I felt the same way. I was at makeup table with my jazz on. It took me forever but I had fun.

So true.

How lovely for you to get back to some normality and feel so good. Hoping for many more orange dress up days for youClare

So true. I live alone and have no family or friends that live near me nor do I drive. I do not drive and the hardest part is I have no family or friends that live near me so basically alone 100% of the time. For me going out is the car service going to the cancer center.

It was odd. Like you I wear gym pants and t-shirts bc I never go anywhere. So my last cancer appt. I decided to "dress up" a bit. I wore a nice pair of pants, and a silk top (old work clothes) and even put on earrings. It felt odd to choose an outfit and to put on matching earrings, something I did for years while working. (I am in my fifth year of MBC).

You are right. Something as simple as wearing makeup or earrings can make a difference. I still do not wear makeup but getting dressed that day other than a t-shirt and jogging pants felt good.
