Getting liver function tests in the UK

I live in the US and I’m planning a trip to the UK to see my family. My onc wants me to have a liver function test each week while I’m traveling as I have elevated liver enzymes that need to be monitored. When I travel in the US I find the nearest Quest or LabCorp blood draw station. They draw the blood and send it to their lab and report the result to my onc. Is there an equivalent service in the UK? My onc is willing to complete the test order for the appropriate lab. I’m willing to pay for the blood draw and test out of pocket. I just don’t know where to start to look for a lab network. I’ll be in the Leeds/Hull area for my trip. Thanks in anticipation of your help 🙏

You should Google it. I went to London when I first started Ibrance and there was a private blood draw clinic that would test all sorts of things. It wasn’t even that expensive. Nor did I need a doctors order.

Not sure about Leeds but it’s worth a try?

Thanks! I’ve done some preliminary research but wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing any major organizations like Quest/LabCorp

Hi ! I am in Yorkshire and suggest you look up nuffieldhealth .com ‘ Blood tests made easy ‘ at 30 of their private Nuffield hospitals . There is a reputable one in the very centre of Leeds . You pay for your test online and can book up to 2 weeks in advance and results are by post or email . There is an enquiry form online if you have a question about booking blood tests and they will get back to you within one working day . Good luck , and have a lovely time visiting family ! x

Thanks for the recommendation. I’d forgotten about the Nuffield group. I’ll take a look on line.
