Just a photo from my walk by the beach earlier today. Its been unusually cold here recently and this is the first warmer weekend in months. I managed to do some gardening on Friday as it was a Bank Holiday...took me 2 days to recover! My first spring since diagnosis....I think I need to pace myself now a bit more.
Hope everyone's had / having a great weekend.
Best wishes, and greetings from Cyprus

We’re at that in between stage where it still snows some days but other days it’s warm and sunny.
Those warm, sunny days make me anxious to get some outdoor work done. This is also my first spring since diagnosis so yours is a good reminder not to over do it.

Wow!! Just beautiful...austere...gorgeous!
Not having been to your coast (where *is* this? Like...Cornwall?), those beach rocks are amazing to me! I pay good money for very small bags of similar just to place in potted planters!
Nowhere near Cornwall….Cyprus is a small island between Greece and Turkey. This is a beach called Kourion, named after the Ancient Greek town of the same name. Up on the cliff plateau out of frame there is a large archeological site that has excavated some ruins. It’s about a 20 min drive out of my home town of Limassol, on the southwest coast of the island. I actually went because of the pebbles, just like you said, they are great for putting around plants. I feed quite a few stray cats in my garden, and adding pebbles over the earth areas keeps things tidy.
Beautiful! I think there's a lot of peace to be found in a place like that. It's warming up here in Texas (my first shorts day yesterday!) and I'm getting ready to plan my garden for the season. Wish I had some of those stones - my dog has taken to hiding the treats she doesn't like under the rocks in my garden and they get messed up big time.
Wow! The colours of the stones seem to reflect the colours of the waters! We've been to Turkey, but not Greece or Cyprus....yet! Perhaps in a year or so, all being okay with my mets.
I’d love to say yes…but the apartment is too small…who knows when the house is eventually finished being built may be I’ll open a little retreat space for guests🤞Husband currently has Covid, 😷 no place for anyone now!! Me included.
Yes, you are so right, I always feel recharged getting out into natural landscapes. We’ve been having awful dust levels for the past week….something’s blown in from the Sahara. This often happens but this time it’s especially bad, worst in decades apparently…so no going out at the moment…. Hopefully will be better by the weekend.
