Soap recommendations

Does anyone have a really good moisturizing shower soap or gel? I use moisturizer after my shower, but my skin is still very dry and itchy.

The only thing that really works for me is baby oil . After shower I put it all over and no odor and it seeps in awesome . Cheapest

HiI use Sanex shower products , they seem to leave my skin moisturised with using a separate moisturiser.

Hi, A few good ones are Crème de corps oil to foam cleanser by Kiehls and Almond shower oil by L’Occitane. Both of these leave the skin feeling moisturised without using an additional moisturiser, but in both cases they also have body cremes to match in these ranges.

hi. i use Dove bar soap (for sensitive skin, fragrance free) in shower/bath. after shower i use Gold Bond Ultimate lotion (the one that says 'proteins and lipids' on the front) as a body moisturizer....also fragrance free. the Gold Bond absorbs very quickly and non-greasy. neither one fancy or expensive!

i do use a pricier moisturizer for my face along with vitamin C serum😊.

I was also going to recommend Dove soap. My OH is prone to dermatitis and this works for him so we've been using it for years.

my derm recommended using something creamy, like aveeno for eczema. and take a warm/cool shower. I started using curel hydra something or other that you apply in the shower while still wet, then gently towel off. non-greasy and it actually works!

I use Aveno lavendar wash. I find it helps and use aveno lavendar lotion after shower.

I use Kirkland Body Wash. It is made of 100% plants and is citrus scented. It feels good on my skin and smells great too. My skin does not feel dry using this product.

In the shower, I use a bath soap/oil from The Body Shop - mine is hemp oil but they may have others. After the shower I use either Aveeno lotion or a product called Thai lemongrass massage oil, again from the Body Shop - although it's an oil, it absorbs fairly quickly. I do have to wait a few minutes before putting clothes on after applying it, but it smells great and really helps with the dryness. I use it mainly on my arms and legs - it's too oily for my face. I also went from daily showers to twice per week, with sponge baths in between if needed.

Hi Nicillo. I only use soap that contains olive oil or Shea butter. After showering , I use Aveeno lavender body lotion, and this practice seems to keep my skin soft! Good luck.

I have found CeraVe shower soap and CeraVe lotion to do the trick. With the lotion 2x per day and put it on heavily.

Hi, I’ve been using soap from a company called Beekman 1802, found it on QVC or HSN. Evidently the soap is made from goat milk which has a close ph to our skin. Even my 88 yr old mother swears by it. They also have lotion which I like too. It’s a little expensive but the bars last 4-6 months. It also comes in all types of scents to non scented. Even got my husband hook on it and he has very dry skin. Hope this helps

I use olive oil soap like Kiss my Face and follow with Gold Bond. Gold bond eczema formula is really great.
